Jeff Matheney

Meet our Owner and President, Jeff Matheney. Jeff is an honorable military Veteran, separated from the United States Air Force. He served 8 years as an Armament Systems Specialist, including two tours overseas during Operation Enduring Freedom. After finishing his degree from Florida Tech University, Jeff and his family separated from the military and moved back to their home state of Michigan. Upon returning to civilian life, Jeff started work as a salesman and grew to love the personable relationships he built with his clients.
Jeff joined the industrial storage and racking business in 2015. He found a great passion for problem solving and solution design in the racking industry. In 2016, Jeff created ICON Material Handling. Jeff’s mission was to create a company that would develop personal relationships with its customers and provide hands on guidance to businesses trying to find the best way to store their products and at the most cost friendly rate. Jeff’s military experience has helped him adapt to various professional situations and has played in a role in his ability to provide customers with prompt responses and solution-based plans to help their company thrive. As a father of three, Jeff enjoys spending his weekends with his daughter and two sons, as well as his wife. Showing his children that self-motivation, respect, and hard work are the main keys to success, is what motivates Jeff to make ICON a top production leader in the storage solution industry.
